Kirsten Simone Vangsness is an American actor and playwright from the United States. She became famous by playing 'Penelope Garcia' in the crime procedural police drama series, 'Criminal minds'. Kirsten Simone Vangsness also appeared in the spinoffs Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' as well as Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. The majority of her work is as a TV actor, but she has also been in a couple of small film roles after her first showbiz appearance in 1998.
