Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark in the film industry. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon relocated to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, as well as independent films and commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from finding out that she was a fan of acting. The year 2001 saw her move into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap opera as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most well-known for is her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko in the role of wife of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was as Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian with a 10-year-old younger brother named Cory. Her family was the family of a conservative and deeply spiritual. Milano began her acting career when she was seven years old. Her babysitter brought her along to an audition for her very first time. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 hopefuls. Her audition was considered one of just four girls. Milano was featured on television in commercials and off Broadway productions like a musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
