Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a stand-up actor and comedian, and is known for exuding her humor in a funny way. She is the character April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. The first web-based series she appeared on was The Jeannie Tate Show in which she performed sketch, improv and slapstick at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. After her debut, Tate went on and made appearances as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. Today, let's celebrate Aubrey Christina Plaza's birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born on Wilmington Delaware. Both of her parents are both English/Irish and Puerto Rican. Plaza was educated at an all girls Catholic school in 2002 as well as the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. As a senior in high school, she was a participant as a part of the Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student council. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 while in college. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia and suffered briefly paralysis. She has recovered completely. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy and a variety of other forms at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are among the venues where she performed stand-up comedy. Plaza appeared on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the role as Robin Gibney and was also in the role of Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. In CollegeHumor Troopers she played a satirical science-fiction character called the Princess. Plaza first played saxophones in Cassorla's Bona Fide (2014). Her first appearance was as a guest in the The Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. Then on HarmonQuest in the year 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. In addition, she played Aaron Burr in Drunk History as well as Cat Adams for Season 11 of C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The actress made her triumphant return to her role on the 12th season of Criminal Minds. The following year, it was confirmed Plaza's appearance in An Evening of Beverly Luff Linn, an indie comedy.
